Steve has a SPOT messenger on board which sends GPS coordinates via satellite to the website. Once we start moving he will switch to continuous tracking which wiull update our position every ten minutes. It will not be operating 24/7 but will be active when we are moving. Current you will see 2 "waypoints". 1 in Panama City where Steve arrived and 1 here in COlon where we are docked.
Currently docked at SHelter Bay Yacht club Colon. Scheduled to leave 5pm Wednesday night. Start into Gatun Lock around 6pm. Anchor in lake and then 6am THursday proceed along the canal to Miraflores Dock later the same day if all goes well.
